I jump out of bed in a frenzied panic,
It’s a race against time, how will I manage!?
My heart beats a million times a minute,
Will I get the job done, before they are finished!?!
It sounds like they will be going soon, but…
I’ll get there in the nick of time, with any luck,
I made it, thank goodness, my bad, without question,
I forgot to put the bins out for collection.

This one’s just a bit of fun, touching on a situation that almost all of us have encountered, at least once in our lifetime… the dreaded moment you realise that you didn’t put the bins out, and your neighbour’s bins are already being emptied! …eek!!!
It’s even worse during this bloomin’ lockdown, when every day of the week is Quaransday! 😆🤣😂 We sometimes forget that we still need to do certain things, on certain days!!
I personally think they should make this an Olympic event, as you really get to see the peak athleticism of someone in these circumstances! 😆🤣 Competitors could be awarded a point for each second left over from the allocated time, plus get bonus points for artistic flair, or clinical execution.
Or maybe I’ve just got way too creative on how to pass the time! However, I do wonder what Homelympic events, you would like to see given the recognition they deserve?
Love and Respect always,
