How will history portray this event?
Will the record be polished, or show flaws and dents?
Mistakes have been made, this we can agree on,
Will the lessons be scribed, or just masked by the neon?
No good comes from covering things like this up,
The balanced truth, has many treasures to give us,
Future kin need to see cracks, not mere plaster,
It’s the best way to prevent any similar disasters.

Often with history records, there is a popular (read – widely promoted and available) account of events, and a lesser known, more accurate one which is suppressed, and struggles to be acknowledged.
Scribes will record what they see, but what if the things they are encouraged to witness and record are already flawed or misleading? Add in personal or political agendas which often taint records, the destruction of alternate views, etc, …frankly, it’s amazing that we know anything about our past at all!
Now take this pandemic, there’s a whole lot of effort being placed on showing us certain theories and “findings”, that support the official narrative. But are we being allowed to see ALL of the information? Are darker motives being disguised? Is our safety really of paramount importance to those in power?
I have witnessed so many attacks on freedom of speech during this time! The BBC, YouTube and Ofcom shutting down debates and banning videos that are only intended to inform us, all in the name of protecting the official story, but is it really for our benefit, and that of the generations that will follow? I think not.
