Reminiscing on times, that now serve as a glimmer,
Rewinding to when life was oh so much simpler,
Reflecting on choices, and the outcomes that followed,
The yearning, the lessons, the ego now swallowed.
Though simpler, life back then was much more hurtful,
But the pain helped to train me, and my inner-circle,
We now stand as guardians, of love; freedom; light;
Every moment’s brought greater meaning to my life.
I’m pretty confident, that every single one of us can recall things that have happened in our lives, that we look back on with regret, but the question I pose is, in doing so, are we doing ourselves a disservice at all?
We’ve already established that none of us are perfect, we’ve all made errors in judgement, we’ve all led with our ego instead of our intellect from time to time, we’ve all poured fuel onto a fire, rather than putting it out.
As we move through life, almost all of us have learned many valuable lessons from these turbulent situations, although we may not wish to relive them, they have shaped us into the person we are today. Even one tiny deviation in our past, could, once the ripples have settled, remove many of the things we love and cherish.
Embrace your life, with all of its ups and downs, try to find the lessons in everything, it can make you and your inner-circle stronger; more compassionate; more driven; more focused on healing this World; more loving; and also proactive in establishing your legacy.
Love and Respect always,
