An alien place, shrouded in mystery,
So dark, distant and extremely peculiar,
Housing pressure that would be deadly to me,
Without special equipment, to keep me or you here.
Yet life does flourish in this hostile terrain,
Hidden wonders, that we can barely perceive,
Fascinating features, that I just can’t explain,
Like bioluminescence in the deep blue sea.
There are parts of this planet, that are more akin with the surface of Mars, there are also a much greater percentage of unknown creatures living in the sea, than there are ones we know about.
Just take a minute to digest these facts, the deepest depths of our oceans are more alien to us, and less uninhabitable than some other planets and moons in our solar system are!
The creatures and plants way down at the bottom of the sea, defeat insane odds and environmental challenges, they perform amazing tricks to aid their survival, like forming light from with their cells, all of which simply blows my mind!
