Owl wondered angrily, “hoo in their right mind,
Would want to trick someone hoos trusting and kind?
Owls have a reputation for being very wise,
Yet they make me look stupid, with their twisted lies.”
“Why am I so gullible? It’s not a natural trait,
For an owl to have, even in this day and age,
They tease me, hurt me, make fun of my pain,
I wish they’d accept hoo I am, and treat me the same!”
Did you know, if you say “gullible” really slowly, it sounds like “bird tickle”.
See, we can all be gullible sometimes, but that’s no reason to be teased and made to feel horrible. There is no excuse for bullying and alienating people, period.
So, if you find a gullible owl, or some other type of unique and seemingly unusual (to you) individual, please be considerate of their feelings, take the time to get to know them, and be sure to celebrate their special qualities.
